A Independent Laois councillor is crying foul over her Fianna Fail council colleagues decision to block Presidential hopeful Gareth Sheridan's nomination.
Mr Sheridan had secured the backing of Caroline Dwane Stanley and along with the rest of the independent reps and Labour's Marie Tuohy in a vote in Portlaoise yesterday afternoon.
