'Committed, Hardworking And Efficient' - Taoiseach On Robert Troy

Opposition parties have been questioning the Taoiseach and Tanaiste for their support of Deputy Troy.

The Taoiseach says Robert Troy has been a very committed, hardworking and efficient Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Trade & Employment.

However, Micheal Martin acknowledges Deputy Troy made serious errors in relation to his declarations to the Register of Member’ Interests.

The Longford Westmeath TD has resigned as Minister of State after almost two weeks of controversy about his property holdings.
