Over 70 people attended a vigil in memory of Adina Raluca Constantin on Friday.
The family of a woman fatally stabbed in Laois is thanking the local community for their support following a vigil in her memory.
Over 70 people gathered in Portlaoise's Memorial Park on Friday evening to remember Adina Raluca Constantin, who passed away earlier this month following the incident at her home on Castle Street.
Her body was repatriated to Romania with family members travelling alongside her and funeral taking place there on Saturday.
Portlaoise's Una Duggan read out a letter from Adina's sister Dana at the vigil and says what's happened is a tragedy for the family:
