Laois doesn't just need a new hall, it needs a complete sports complex.
That's according to Local Election Candidate in Portlaoise, Marie Tuohy, after the current sitting councillors in Laois voiced their discontent at the local authority's presentation on sports facilities.
It comes after a feasibility report from five years ago was published last week, highlighting the need for a new 12-court, multi-use, indoor hall for the town.
