An Offaly man who lost his life in a crash in the county yesterday is being remembered as a "kind, gent of a man who would do anything for anyone".
Stephen Mooney was killed on the Clonbullogue to Edenderry Road after the van he was driving was hit by a crane which came loose from a truck.
The road has since been re-opened after a technical examination of the scene.
