Sponsored nameplates and a tap to donate machine - those are some of the ways over €195,000 has been raised for a new outdoor swimming pool in Offaly.
Shannon Bank Park Group is running a fundraising campaign for the pool in Banagher since February, through various events such as a 80's night club evening and a hike up Carrauntoohil.
€850,000 is the total cost of the pool, with a substantial chunk of €616,000 awarded through the EU Just Transition Fund.
Construction has started with the first phase due to be completed before the end of August.
