A new planned town park for Kinnegad will benefit the entire county of Westmeath.
That's the view of local Sinn Fein Councillor David Jones.
A contractor has been appointed to the project which is under the Rural Regeneration and Development Fund - with works expected to start in early 2025.
It's expected the park will be completed next summer.
