It's predicted to be decided officially in the coming weeks.
A contractor for an advanced manufacturing plant in Westmeath is set to be appointed in the 'coming weeks.'
Planning permission for the 50,000sq ft facility at the Marlinstown IDA Park in Mullingar was granted at the end of 2022, however the tender process for the project was subject to a judicial review earlier this year.
Enterprise Minister, Longford Westmeath TD, Peter Burke, has confirmed the procurement process for the construction of the premises is now underway.
It's hoped development of the large-scale project will begin before the end of this year.
