Coronavirus: Numbers In Hospital Have Risen By 14 In 24 Hours.

Numbers in ICU are steady, up just one on yesterday.

The Department of Health has reported a further 1,049 new cases of Covid-19.

Latest figures show the country's 14-day incidence rate has dropped to 379 per 100,000 people. 

It's highest in Monaghan, Donegal, Louth and Carlow and lowest in Wicklow, where the rate is only 168. 

310 people are in hospital with the virus - an increase of 14 in the past 24 hours.

66 people are being treated in ICU - up 1 in the same period.
