This marks the second MA in Social Work at TUS to receive CORU approval.
TUS is set to receive CORU approval for its new MSW programme at a Midlands University.
Following the accreditation of the Moylish-based Master’s last year, this is now the second MA in Social Work at TUS to be approved by CORU.
Approval by CORU, Ireland’s health regulator, confirms that Master of Social Work graduates from TUS Athlone meet professional standards and can apply directly for CORU registration.
CORU says extending the approved programme to both TUS campuses represents an important milestone for social work education in Ireland, aimed at broadening access to accredited training across the Midwest and Midlands regions.
