Most post-primary private schools have seen rises this year.
The cost of sending a child to a private school in the midlands has seen a substantial increase.
Cistercian College in Roscrea is charging an annual fee of €8,265 for 2023, a jump from €7,850 last year.
That figure was even less in 2021, at €7,550, according to the Irish Independent.
This is in line with most post-primary private schools in the country, as 40 of the 49 facilities have seen a rise in fees this year.
The cost of sending a school to Wilson's Hospital boarding school in Multyfarnham for five days of the week is €9,500 for the year, while it's €12,600 for seven days.
