Fires have broke out across the county over the past week.
A Westmeath councillor says there's a danger fire services are being stretched too thin after a number of bog and forest fires in the county.
Drumman bog in Milltownpass has been the site of a major breakout this week which has mostly been brought under control.
However, fire services had to leave the scene yesterday to attend to another fire in Tyrellspass, as it was still ongoing.
