Criminal Damage And Public Order Offences Declining In Midlands County

The figures are out from the latest meeting of the Joint Policing Committee in Laois.

Criminal damage and public order offences, including drunkeness, are on the decline in a midlands county.

Laois crime statistics show that criminal damage cases saw decreases when comparing the first quarter of this year with the same period last year.

Drunkeness also decreased, from 51 cases down to 40, and general public order offences decreased from 74, to 71 cases.
