Westmeath leads the way in the midlands on in-take of Ukrainians.
Over 3,855 Ukrainians have arrived in the midlands since the start of the conflict with Russia.
According to the latest CSO data, Athlone, Westmeath is the Local Electoral Area with the highest number of arrivals from Ukraine in the region at just 1,000.
That number also represents the highest portion of an area's population in the midlands at 4.5% based on the most recent census data.
Over 84 thousand 500 Ukrainians have arrived in Ireland since the start of the conflict with Russia.
600 arrived here in the week leading up to the 6th of June.
Killarney County Kerry is the Local Electoral Area with the highest number of arrivals from Ukraine at over 2,300.
Westmeath in total has 1,882 Ukrainians, Laois has 1,000, and Offaly 973.
