He sits on the Oireachtas Finance Committee.
The review into Davy's practices must be carried out by an independent, external body, according to a midlands TD.
The Central Bank appeared before the Oireachtas Finance Committee yesterday, in relation to the 16 Davy staff - including their CEO and deputy chair - who illegally bought bonds they were selling in 2014.
Davy says it will investigate the matter, in light of the enormous reputational damage done.
But Meath-West Aontú TD and Finance Committee, Peadar Tóibín doesn't believe it can be left to the company or the Central Bank:
