They'll trek through Westmeath today.
Defence Forces Veterans are marching through the midlands in aid of charity.
Six veterans, four serving members and support staff are walking the 170km famine trail across Ireland to raise money for ONE.
Their journey will take them through Mullingar today, with a rest stop in Custume Barracks in Athlone.
The final destination will see them arrive in Custom House Quay in Dublin this Sunday at 3pm.
