A development project planned for an Offaly town has officially moved onto its next stage.
The Rectory Fields development in Birr is set to go to Plan 8 stage, meaning plans for the development will be made public, with a series of consulations also set to be held in the coming weeks.
It follows its addition to the Government's Housing Activation scheme in June.
The land will be used for housing and mixed use development, with over 120 homes expected to be delivered.
