Bru fell down an abandoned well in Birr.
A three year old Bernese mountain dog is "lucky to be alive" after falling ten metres into an abandoned well in Offaly.
25 people from both Laois and Offaly Fire and Rescue worked together to save Bru after he fell into the grass covered hole while out for a walk in Birr.
The operation took around three hours.
