The singer, from Tennessee, sold more than 100-million records over her six-decade career. 
 
Some of her hits include Jolene, 9 to 5 and I Will Always Love You.

Flags across the US will be lowered for a week, while the Empire State Building in New York lit up in a ‘pink sparkle’ last night to honour the singer.
