The HSE has paid-out over €1.4 billion in compensation relating to 'adverse incidents' in the past five years.
The figures, which were revealed to Aontú, show nearly half of that has been paid-out in 2022 and 2021.
The State Claims Agency has received over 10,000 claims between 2018 and 2022, the most of which were issued in 2019.
