€140K Worth Of Cocaine Found In Midlands Premises

Revenue officers examining parcels at a premises in Athlone seized 2kgs cocaine yesterday with an estimated value of €140,000.

The drugs were discovered in a parcel that had originated in the Netherlands and were destined for an address in Northern Ireland.

Investigations are ongoing.
