€37,000 Allocated To Promote Integration Of Migrants In The Midlands

The money will be spent on a range of projects from children's summer camps to intercultural community events.

€37,000 is being allocated to promote the integration of migrants and refugees in the midlands.

Over half a million in total has been set aside for the government's Communities Integration Fund for 2022.

Eight community groups in the midlands are to benefit - including the Geashill Ukraine Response, Laois Integration Network, and the Mullingar YoYo Youth Café.

The money will be spent on a range of projects from children's summer camps to intercultural community events.
