200 new jobs are set to be created in Ballinderry.
Hundreds of new jobs are expected to be created in Westmeath following the announcement of a €50 million investment.
Charter Medical Group is providing the funding for its Ballinderry hospital in Mullingar.
The two-year expansion plan, beginning January, will add new theatres, endoscopy suites, and extra surgical and medical beds.
This expansion will create 200 new jobs over the next two years, followed by another 100 roles in 2027.
