The money will be shared among two groups in Westmeath and one in Laois.
Two midlands counties are to benefit from over €50,000 in funding to support conservation of fisheries.
In Westmeath, Lough Ennell Trout Preservation Association and Fore Heritage and Amenity Group are to receive €15,000 each.
While in Laois, Inland Fisheries Ireland is getting €24,000 to carry out habitat enhancement works for salmon on the River Erkina.
They're among 17 projects that've have been approved so far this year under the government's Habitats & Conservation Fund.
