€5m Rates Support Required For Westmeath SMEs In 2021

That estimate was given to local reps by the director of finance in the local authority.

It's estimated small and medium enterprises in Westmeath will need up to €5 million of supports next year. 

Westmeath County Council's director of finance made the projection to representatives following an income analysis of rates payments from the sector. 

Leisure, tourism and hospitality have been identified as particular areas of concern.
