Electric Picnic 2026 takes place from August 28th-30th.

Last year at Electric Picnic, a brand-new stage Electric Keys appeared in Stradbally Estate, nestled in the beating heart of Croí.

Home to a stand-alone piano, this was an opportunity for musicians of all abilities to become a part of the festival, with hundreds of budding musicians applying to perform over the weekend.

This year, Electric Picnic is once again inviting guests to embark on a musical journey, whether you’ve performed in public before or you’re ready to share your talent for the very first time.

This is your chance to apply for a once in a lifetime opportunity to play at Ireland’s largest music and arts festival!

Just like last year, Electric Keys is set to offer a atmospheric, informal setting where artists of all abilities can share their music with a live festival audience.

Curated slots will run throughout the weekend, providing performers with a unique stage framed by nature and spontaneity. Select performances may also be featured on our social media channels, turning fleeting melodies into memories forever etched into the minds of Picnickers.

To apply, submit your details, plus a short video or audio clip demonstrating your ivory-tinkling talents, via the website here by 11.59pm on 5th June 2026.

Applications are open now and due to huge interest in its debut year, with Electric Picnic extending the application window.

The festival is also asking those with fine-tune to post there talents on their socials and tag them!

Electric Picnic will select musicians to perform at the festival this coming 28th - 30th August.

You can perform solo or ensemble with up to four musical accompaniments, and are advised to bring your fiddles, pack your accordions and tune your guitars and become part of the tapestry of Electric Picnic.

For scheduled performances, in addition to the piano, the space will be equipped with a high-quality four channel PA system with a microphone to support live vocals and three additional instruments. The multi-channel setup allows musicians to mic up vocals, a violin, guitar, or any other instrument they choose to bring, ensuring flexibility and professional sound.

Outside of the curated sessions, Electric Keys will remain open all weekend, inviting Picnickers to sprinkle a little bit of their own musical fairy dust in Croí from sunrise to sunset and will allow the audience to witness the sound of creativity unfolding under the canopy of trees of Stradbally Estate.

The deadline to apply is 5th June, with winning entrants contacted by 3rd July 2026.
