Many missed out on tickets for 2026 despite being signed up to their loyalty scheme.
Many Electric Picnic regulars were left disappointed yesterday after not getting tickets.
A long running loyalty scheme didn't secure them a place at the festival.
The scheme allows people who have bought tickets previously to access a separate batch of tickets for a reduced price via a code.
Caitríona Redmond, Consumer Columnist with the Irish Examiner, explains what happened:
Festival organisers are expanding the Thursday night line up for 2026.
Early-entry festivalgoers will see one or two additional stages.
The event, which will take place from August 28-30, is keeping ticket prices steady, starting at €245.50.
Two headliners are already confirmed for 2026, following a this years festival, that saw over 80,000 people flock to Laois for performances from acts like Hozier and Kings of Leon.
