Contest winner will book slot at this year's Electric Picnic Festival.

Electric Picnic is coming back with a bang for one very deserving Laois act.

The Electric Youth contest has returned and the Grand Final takes place on Thursday after the heats were run off earlier this week.

The winner will land a gig playing the Hazelwood stage at this year's Electric Picnic in Stradbally this September.

Regional Director with Youth Work Ireland Laois Clive Davis says the competition's young contestants deserve every success they get:
