A Longford-Westmeath TD says the October 1st deadline for reimbursement of Skyclarys must be met.
Skyclarys was approved for reimbursement by the HSE Senior Management Team on 25th August for treating patients with the rare genetic condition, Friedreich’s Ataxia.
The product's supplier, Biogen, says stock will be available later this month.
