It will come into force on the 1st of January 2026.
Cabinet has approved a delay to the auto enrolment pension system.
It was due to take effect in September of this year, but now won't come into force until the 1st of January 2026.
The Government says the move was done partially in consultation with employers who had asked to implement the change at the start of a new financial year.
