A special meeting of Offaly County Council took place yesterday, after the county was allocated just 3% of the €18 million fund announced last week.
It received €550,000 for two successful projects, despite councillors and Offaly Green Party Senator Pippa Hackett arguing the county has been most impacted by Just Transition.
