Environmental Officer Warns Of Continued Illegal Dumping In Laois

It follows the latest incident on the Timahoe/Ballyroan road.

Laois County Council is advising people of what to if they encounter rubbish that's been dumped.

It's after tyres and household waste, including dirty nappies, food, and a bill with a person's name on it - were recently found in the Timahoe/Ballyroan area.

Environmental Officer in Waste Management at the Laois County Council, Liam Rabbitte, says it's vital their wardens are made aware of any cases of illegal dumping and can deal with it immediately.

He has this advice for anyone who spots material dumped:
