ESB Issues "Vague" Plans For Renewable Energy Centre In Shannonbridge

That's according to an Offaly councillor who wants to get more clarity from the company.

A statement from the ESB on plans to develop a renewable energy centre in Shannonbridge creates as many questions as it gives answers, according to an Offaly councillor.

The semi-state company says it's currently developing planning applications to create green energy services at both the West Offaly and Lough Ree Power Station sites, but that the two power stations themselves will still be demolished due to planning obligations.
