A €6.5 million investment is going towards an ESB training centre in the Midlands.
The Networks Training Centre in Portlaoise is using the funding to support significant investment in their national network.
It ties into their strategy to deliver a net zero ready electricity network by 2040 and will also support 156 new apprenticeships to start at the site early next year.
