Talks between the two parties began in 2018.
A new trade agreement between the EU and Australia is being welcomed by a Midlands MEP.
The deal will scrap tariffs on most goods and is expected to boost trade over the next ten years.
It also monitors certain sectors such as beef and dairy through safeguarding measures and rate quotas.
The deal is believed to be worth €6bn in additional trade for both sides.
