Expansion Of Sheep Welfare Scheme Sought By New IFA Representative

Ballinakill's Francie Gorman was voted as South Leinster Chairman last Friday.

The new South Leinster Chairman of the IFA is targeting an expansion of the sheep welfare scheme. 

Ballinakill's Francie Gorman wants to see the payment increased to €30 per head going forward. 

He beat off competition from Wexford's James Kehoe to land the role in an online vote last Friday.
