Extension Required On Consultation Process For N4 Upgrade In Westmeath

52km of dual carriageway is being extended from Mullingar to Roosky.

There's calls for an extension to the consultation process for a 52km upgrade of the N4 in Westmeath. 

The submission process is due to finish on March 19th for the construction of a dual carriageway between Mullingar and Roosky. 

Senator Micháel Carrigy held a virtual public meeting on the issue which over 100 people attended. 

He says it's important that the voices of those potentially affected is heard:
