52km of dual carriageway is being extended from Mullingar to Roosky.
There's calls for an extension to the consultation process for a 52km upgrade of the N4 in Westmeath.
The submission process is due to finish on March 19th for the construction of a dual carriageway between Mullingar and Roosky.
Senator Micháel Carrigy held a virtual public meeting on the issue which over 100 people attended.
