Seven new substances have been found in Ireland since the HSE started a new drug-testing programme at music festivals in 2022.
The Safer Nightlife Programme sees people attending festivals, such as Laois' Electric Picnic and Westmeath's Life Festival, surrendering samples of drugs which can be tested.
220 samples were submitted to medical tents at events last year.
