Working people should be prioritised when it comes to housing, according to Fine Gael.
Laois Councillor Aisling Moran wants "to look after people who are getting up for work".
The comments echo those made by her party's leader, Leo Varadkar, who said in 2017 he wanted to lead for those "people who get up early in the morning".
