Fine Gael Have A "Queue Of Candidates" To Replace Charlie Flanagan

The Laois Offaly TD announced his retirement from the Dáil earlier this week.

Fine Gael won't be short of choices for candidates to replace Charlie Flanagan on the ballot paper in the next General Election. 

That's according to Steven Miller from Laois Today, who believes councillors Thomisina Connell, Conor Bergin and Willie Aird's names will be in the mix. 

Deputy Flanagan announced on Monday he was calling time on his Dáil career after serving for 36 years.
