Fire crews believed the blaze had been extinguished yesterday.
Emergency services are tackling a bog fire in Offaly.
Edenderry Fire and Rescue service was first alerted to the blaze on the Garr Road near Rhode at 1.30pm yesterday afternoon, and left the site with the fire extinguished at 8.30pm that evening.
It appears it restarted between 6.30am and 9am this morning.

A unit from the station in Edenderry is currently working to contain the situation with a fire service spokesperson confirming to Midlands 103 there are no properties in danger as things stand.
