The installation of an outdoor swimming pool in Offaly is expected to be completed today.
It's part of the first phase of construction at the Banagher Shannon Bank Park, which involves the groundwork needed to use the pool and installing a new access ramp.
It follows extensive fundraising events over the summer which raised over €195,000 for the project, alongside the €616,000 awarded through the EU Just Transition Fund.
The park is closed for the duration of the works until September 22nd, with further development works taking place after, with the aim of completing by next April.
