Investigations into the matter are continuing.
Five people have been arrested following a public order incident in Westmeath.
It took place on Dominick Street in Mullingar at around 8pm yesterday evening.
Four men and one woman were arrested during the course of the incident - three of those have since been released and were subject to Fixed Charge Notices, while the remaining two received adult cautions.
Gardaí are continuing to investigate the matter, and are asking witnesses, particularly those with camera or dashcam footage, to get in touch with Mullingar Garda Station at 044 938 4000.
