The event returns to Westmeath in two weeks time.
The Fleadh is without a €400,000 grant promised by Westmeath County Council, just two weeks out from the event.
The funding was approved in the local authority's budget last year.
This year's Fleadh Cheoil Na hÉireann will cost €1.7 million when it returns to Mullingar on August 6th, and is expected to bring between €50 million and €60 million in investment to Mullingar.
