Department of Housing figures for May show 115 children experiencing homelessness in the Midlands.

Thousands of children are spending the summer months in emergency accommodation.

While 115 children were classified as homeless in the Midlands in May in the Department of Housing's latest report.

The charity says the average stay for a family is over a year, with many staying longer.
