Strong infrastructure for cycling in Copenhagen encourages road users to ditch the car and avail of rental bikes around the city, a scheme which Caroline Hofman believes could be implemented in the midlands.
Bike sharing measures are already in place in Tullamore, Mullingar and Athlone, while Portlaoise also offers the use of Bolt rental bikes.
