A former midlands priest is at the centre of allegations of abuse during the 1970s and 80s.

Former students of the Carmelite College in Moate have alleged they suffered or witnessed sexual abuse from Fr. Michael Cremin,who died in 2019.

The maths teacher also coached the school's football team, and later became principal.

One student claims he was sexually abused by Fr. Cremin in the priest's room when he was around 14-years-old.
