A former midlands priest has passed away.
98-year-old Very Reverend Father Eamonn O'Brien, who was a Parish Priest in Rochfortbridge, died yesterday.
He had been in the priesthood for over 70 years.
Father O'Brien's funeral will take place in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Rochfortbridge tomorrow at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.
He is sadly missed by sister, Clare and brothers, Joe and Peter.
