A former Midlands travel agent is reassuring people not to worry just yet over flight cancellations.

The Sunday Independent is reporting Aer Lingus is planning to scrap departures from Dublin to European airports over the next few weeks.

Transatlantic flights to and the US and Canada are also affected, amid a potential jet fuel shortage due to the Middle East conflict.
