Former Offaly Councillor To Transform Tourist Apartments

The outbuildings are at his Edenderry home.

A former Offaly councillor has received the green light to convert stables into short-stay tourist apartments.

Offaly County Council granted permission to Ger Killally to transform the outbuildings at his Edenderry home into eight self-catering units with a maximum 14-day stay.

His company, Ardnaranla Hospitality Ltd is set to repurpose the three-building stable courtyard.

The former auctioneer was declared bankrupt after the property crash, and has previous experience in attempted hotel developments.
